Turning Point AV is a nationwide audio visual company. What does that mean?
As a nationwide audio visual company, Turning Point AV provides audio visual services anywhere throughout the US. We partner with our clients to provide the audio visual services for all their meetings, regardless of event location. This allows our clients to partner with one audio visual company for all of their events – our clients receive the same great services and pricing for any event, anytime, anywhere.
Does Turning Point AV provide international audio visual services?
Yes! Whether your event is in Canada, Mexico, South America or across the pond, Turning Point AV will act as the audio visual experts on y our event planning team. We will plan the AV requirements with the international hotel contracted AV company, ensuring your program meets your expectations, while allowing you to focus on other aspects of your important international event.
Am I required to use the venue contracted audio visual company?
As a valued client you certainly have the right to choose the best audio visual company for your event. In fact, there are many benefits to choosing an independent AV company, such as competitive pricing, long-term partnerships, onsite technicians servicing only your event, and nationwide service. What additional venue charges will I see when using Turning Point AV?
The most common fees that may apply when using an independent audio visual company are power charges and load in/out fees. Any fees that may apply are minimal and Turning Point AV is often a more cost effective option, even when fees apply.
Am I charged for using house sound?
No. Turning Point AV supplies external speakers in all of your meeting rooms. This provides you with superior sound quality, as well as preventing any venue charges for use of the house sound.
Is Turning Point AV onsite during my event?
Absolutely! One of the benefits of using Turning Point AV is you get a team of friendly and knowledgeable technicians at your service 24/7 during the length of your entire event. While the venue contracted AV companies split their time between multiple events occurring at the property, our attention is only on you.
What if I need to make changes and add extra gear onsite?
Turning Point AV knows that accommodating change is a part of our job. We always bring extra gear with us onsite. If you need a microphone, projector, etc. last minute, no problem – we’ve always got you covered.
Does Turning Point AV coordinate with the venue?
Yes. Turning Point AV works closely with the venue to coordinate power needs, storage rooms, load in and load out times, meeting room set up and all other details that ensure a successful event. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with all venue, creating event success everywhere we go.
Does Turning Point AV provide rigging services?
Yes. Rigging projection and lighting is a great option for a clean, professional look. Turning Point AV can provide rigging services in conjunction with the venue to ensure all safety standards are met and the rigging is properly engineered.
Does Turning Point AV create renders and room set diagrams?
Yes. In order to best communicate your stage design, Turning Point AV can provide 3D renders. The renders are to scale and offer a virtual view of your scenic elements and staging.
Room set diagrams allow you, the venue, and any permit providers to plan for the placement of the audio visual equipment in each room. The diagrams indicate all fire exits and aisle ways.
Will Turning Point AV work with my budget?
Turning Point AV prides ourselves on providing our clients with fair, honest pricing. You will not see any hidden fees or services charges. We work hard to find solutions in order to fit our clients’ budgets. For our long term partners, we are able to lock in equipment prices and discounts for multiple shows and multiple years.
